A specialized consultative meeting titled "Negotiation in Islam" was held on May 1, 2025, at the Ghadir International Conference Center of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Qom Seminary. This meeting was organized in collaboration with the Islamic Sciences and Culture Research Institute, the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qom. It was attended by seminary and university professors, as well as several managers from the Center for Political and International Studies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In this specialized meeting, which was chaired by Mr. Hamid Makarem, Head of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qom, the issue of negotiation, its necessity or avoidance, was discussed and examined from various jurisprudential, political, and technical dimensions.
