Unveiling of Three Books Published by the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Almaty Kazakhstan

In the presence of representatives from the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty Kazakhstan three books resulting from a joint project between the university and the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were unveiled.

In the presence of representatives from the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, three books resulting from a joint project between the university and the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were unveiled. The ceremony was attended by officials from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, faculty deans, and the university's Center for Oriental Studies. At this event, Mr. Seyed Ali Mojani, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Habibollah Malakouti-Far, Head of the Department for Coordination of Scientific Research and Publications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated and unveiled three books titled:

  • "General History of Turkestan"
  • "Catalogue of Manuscripts of Al-Farabi University"
  • "The Discourse of the Quest for Nation-State Building: A Comparison of Two Iranian and Kazakh Experiences Based on Farabi's Idea of Justice"

Following the unveiling, the Vice-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the researchers involved in creating these works, along with a number of professors and officials from the university, delivered speeches. Mr. Mojani also delivered a detailed speech, referring to the history and how bilateral cooperation began, mentioning the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution during his meeting with Mr. Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, and introduced the three published books. He also expressed his gratitude to the Iranian and Kazakh officials, especially the officials of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Center for Political and International Studies, who cooperated with the authors in the production of these works.

Mr. Malakouti-Far also stated in his speech, while emphasizing the significance of the published books both in addressing the topic of Farabi, who is known as the Second Teacher in Iran, and in line with the implementation of the orders and wishes of the leaders of the two countries, that the Center for Political and International Studies is ready to continue this path and, given the existing capacities, increase the production of joint works several times over.
