In continuation of the weekly meetings of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the "Review of the Latest Developments in the South Caucasus" meeting was held on June 26, 2023, with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Hassan Sheykholeslami, the head of the Institute, senior experts and some former officials and ambassadors.

In this meeting, while examining the latest developments in the South Caucasus region and the effect of the war in Ukraine, it was emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran always wants stable and peaceful relations based on good neighborliness with the countries of this region.

Also, the South Caucasus region is very important in regional and international relationships. In this regard, the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes reducing tensions and strengthening lasting peace.
