On Monday, January 23, on the sidelines of the opening of the 6th Conference on the History of Iran's Foreign Relations, titled "Two Centuries of Negotiations in the History of Iranian Diplomacy," a historical document was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Dr. Amir-Abdollahian, the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs. This document is a letter that Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, the grandfather of Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, Saudi founder, wrote to Naser al-Din Shah Qajar in 1851. While emphasizing the long-standing relationship between the parties and the necessity of its continuation and continuous communication, he used the original and historical name of the Persian Gulf.
