Joint meeting of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) with the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI) was held on bilateral and regional issues with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Hassan Shaykh al-Islam, the president of the Institute, and Sohail Mahmood, the director general of the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI), and some senior experts in Pakistan on October 18, 2023.

Joint meeting of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) with the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI) was held on bilateral and regional issues with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Hassan Shaykh al-Islam, the president of the Institute, and Sohail Mahmood, the director general of the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI), and some senior experts in Pakistan on October 18, 2023.

Referring to the profound changes in the international system and the region, the two sides emphasized the importance of close consultations between Iran and Pakistan to strengthen bilateral relations at various levels.

Also, in another part of this meeting, while expressing disgust at the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Palestine, it was emphasized that the international community should take immediate action to stop the cruel crimes of this regime against the Palestinian people and provide immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In this meeting, topics such as bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran, changing dynamics in the Middle East, and the evolving situation in Afghanistan were discussed.
