Joint meeting of the (IPIS) with the (PCFR)

The joint meeting of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) with the Pakistan Council on Foreign Relations (PCFR) was held with the presence of Khalil Shirgholami, Deputy of Research of the Institute for Political and International Studies, Seyyed Hassan Habib, Chairman of the Pakistan Council on Foreign Relations (PCFR), some other members of the Council and senior experts of the Institute on November 1, 2023.

The joint meeting of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) with the Pakistan Council on Foreign Relations (PCFR) was held with the presence of Khalil Shirgholami, Deputy of Research of the Institute for Political and International Studies, Seyyed Hassan Habib, Chairman of the Pakistan Council on Foreign Relations (PCFR), some other members of the Council and senior experts of the Institute on November 1, 2023.

In this meeting, referring to a very deep historical and cultural background between Iran and Pakistan, it was stated that it is necessary to focus on the many capacities between the two countries to promote bilateral relations at all levels. The issue of Afghanistan and immigrants and how they are managed in Iran and Pakistan were among other issues.

Also, in this meeting, while explaining the latest developments in the Gaza crisis, it was emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire, the lifting of the blockade of Gaza, and the cancellation of the forced migration of Palestinians.
