Kyrgyzstan , Land of Mountains and Revolution
Following the southern parties’ victory, which are close to the president, in the Kyrgyzstan parliament elections on Oct 4, 2020, and the northern parties’ failure to enter the next parliament , the country dubbed as the land of revolution, democracy and freedom, once again, plunged into sectarian strife, settling accounts, political mayhem and power vacuum. The elections results were nulled; The government stepped down and the president resigned consequently. The next presidential elections are to be held on Jan 10, 2021. Also, there has not yet been decided on a date for parliamentary elections which is said are going to be held following constitutional reforms, in the first half of 2021.

The Islamic Republic of Iran and South Caucasus Security: Nagorno-Karabakh Case
After the “policy of neighborliness”, the most important concern that puts the issue of the Caucasus at the top of Iran’s foreign policy agenda is the Nagorno-Karabakh dispute and the threat of the outbreak of a war between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan following a new flare-up of tensions in Tovuz District in July 2020.

The virtue of Neighborliness and Border Disputes between Neighbors
I would distinguish between the concepts of “neighbor” and “neighborliness” in this short article. Two persons or two families living in adjacent houses or two sections of the same house are called neighbors. Such a concept is also used in international relations, as two countries with common borders are called neighbors. The foreign policy starts with a neighbor.
