<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">The 12th Think Tank Forum of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), titled "Asia's New Role in a Multipolar World," was held in Shanghai on October 24-25, 2024, with the participation of the Center for Political and International Studies (CPIS).</p> <p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">This forum, initiated by the Chinese government in 2014, held its 12th session over two days and was hosted by the Shanghai Institute for International Studies.</p> <p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Morteza Rahmani-Movahed, Senior Research Fellow in International Studies, participated in the meeting on behalf of the Center and presented a paper on "Reformed Multilateralism in the New Era."</p> <p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">Examining the trend of multipolarity in today's world and CICA's role, issues related to sustainable development, and CICA's challenges and achievements were among the most important topics of the forum's specialized panels.</p> <p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
