Press Conference of Dr. Muhammad Hassan Shaykh al-Islami President of IPIStudies with Indonesian Media
Following the travel plans of the International and delegation of Institute for Political and International Studies to Indonesia Dr. Muhammad Hassan Shaykh al-Islami President of Institute for Political and International Studies participated in a press conference with the Indonesian media at the place of the Iranian ambassador on August 14 and while explaining the positions and policies of our country in bilateral affairs regional and international answered the questions of Indonesian journalists about various issues.

<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">Following the travel plans of the International and delegation of Institute for Political and International Studies to Indonesia, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Shaykh al-Islami, President of Institute for Political and International Studies, participated in a press conference with the Indonesian media at the place of the Iranian ambassador on August 14, and while explaining the positions and policies of our country in bilateral affairs, regional and international, answered the questions of Indonesian journalists about various issues.</p>
<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">In this media conference, which was held with the presence of more than 50 Indonesian journalists from 35 media outlets of this country, Dr. Shaykh al-Islami, at the beginning of his speech, considered the expansion of mutual knowledge between the two countries as an important strategy in advancing the relations between Iran and Indonesia in all fields and considered it important to continue the dialogue and exchange between the research and study institutions of the two countries. By naming the Republic of Indonesia as a friend and brother country of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he emphasized the determination of the authorities of our country to develop cooperation with Indonesia and announced that the expansion of cooperation with Asian countries, especially neighboring countries and Muslim nations like Indonesia has a special place in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.</p>
<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">The President of Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country, in another part of his speech, also commended the positions of the Republic of Indonesia in defending the rights of the Palestinian nation, as well as the cooperation between this country and Iran in international forums for the realization of the rights of the oppressed people of Palestine, have evaluated the support of all the countries and nations that want freedom from Palestine today as very important for the Palestinians.</p>
<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">In the final part of this press conference, Indonesian journalists focused on bilateral economic relations between Iran and Indonesia, the process of implementing the preferential trade agreement between the two countries, the process of exploiting the agreements and documents signed between the presidents of the two countries in May 2023, the future of the path to independence of the nation of Palestine, the response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the cowardly assassination of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh and other issues in the region and the Islamic world, have raised many questions, which were answered by Dr. Shaykh al-Islami.</p>
<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">It is worth mentioning that this press conference had a wide media coverage in Indonesian news networks, news agencies, newspapers and social networks, and the media with different headlines supported the expansion of bilateral relations between Iran and Indonesia and emphasized and covered the support of Palestine and the independence of this country.</p>
