The president of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran considered the operations of Palestinian fighters to be the end line of the optimism of some weak and naive people in establishing relations with Israel and emphasized: Al-Aqsa storm started the decline of identity elements and perceptual components created by the usurping Zionist regime.

During his trip to Islamabad and consultation with the Pakistani officials, Dr. Mohammad Hassan Shaykh al-Islami said in an interview with IRNA news agency: The Institute for Political and International Studies is a think tank arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this regard, we have relations with more than a hundred think tanks worldwide, which have continued in the 13th government.

Emphasizing the priority of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to interact with the study institutions of neighboring countries in line with the neighboring policy of the 13th government, he added: We had a constructive meeting with Pakistani officials, including the board of directors of the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI), and there was a detailed discussion about the latest developments related to bilateral relations, regional and international issues, including developments in Afghanistan and the situation in Palestine.

Referring to the current events in the Middle East caused by the continuation of the crimes of the occupying Israeli regime in Gaza, Shaykh al-Islami said: We have congratulated the freedom fighters of the world, especially the supporters of the resistance axis, on the brilliant victory of the fighters of the resistance front in Palestine, and we are sure that whatever the outcome of the war, the Zionist regime will no longer be the former regime after the Al-Aqsa storm operation.

Emphasizing the importance of the position of Iran and Pakistan in the region and the Islamic world, he said: Fortunately, the positions of Pakistani friends in defense of Palestine and against the Zionist regime are in line with the Islamic Society, as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran, as always, is a strong supporter of Palestine and the resistance front.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs stated: Today's tragedies and crimes committed by the Zionists in Gaza are war crimes and crimes against humanity and are strongly condemned; even the news of these crimes is very difficult to bear. At the same time, the issue that should not be neglected is that the operations of the Palestinian fighters started the decline of identity elements and perceptual components created by the usurping and illegitimate Zionist regime.

He added: The Al-Aqsa storm operation destroyed the "false concept of Israel," and even with the end of this process, what will continue is that Israel will no longer be the same as before because this story has ended and the equations of the region will be completely changed as a result of the current development in Gaza.

Referring to the compromise conspiracy with the illegitimate Zionist regime, the president of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: The normalization of relations with the Zionist regime was born dead and was a failed project from the beginning.

He emphasized that the operation of the Palestinian fighters was the end line of the optimism of some weak and naive people who thought that the so-called "normalization" plan would succeed. Today, we are witnessing that some Arab countries with a normalization plan withdrew from this project.

Sheikh al-Islami added: Revival of the compromise conspiracy with the Zionist regime is practically ruled out in the short and medium term, but we should not neglect that America, the Zionists, and their minions will try again to revive it in other forms, and it is necessary for thinkers who support the idea of Palestine and the idea of resistance to have an explanatory approach about the normalization of relations with Israel and clearly explain to the people and governments of the region that this project will never ensure the interests of Islamic nations and countries and will be contrary to Islamic and human values and doomed to failure.

Sheikh al-Islami, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and president of the Institute for Political and International Studies, also met with some officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan during this trip.
