Following the summits of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Sunday, April 30, 2023, a summit titled "The approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran in interaction with international human rights institutions" was held with the presence of Dr. Kazem Gharib Abadi, Deputy for International Affairs of the Judiciary and Secretary of High Council for Human rights, Dr. Sheykholeslami, head of the Institute for Political and International Studies, and senior experts at the place of the Institute for Political and International Studies.
In this summit, Ms. Masoumeh Afjei, the head of the Human Rights and Women's Studies Department, presented a report on the actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of human rights from the last decade until today.
In addition, the Deputy for International Affairs of the Judiciary, while expressing the importance of the human rights issue in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized that some countries, despite the human rights conspiracies against Iran, have not been able to attract global public opinion against Iran.
While criticizing discrimination, political work and double standards in the issue of human rights, the Secretary of High Council for Human rights said that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers itself obliged to promote and protect human rights.
Also, at the end of the summit, Dr. Sheykholeslami, head of the Institute for Political and International Studies, and senior experts presented their views and opinions on the issue of human rights.
