On Sunday April 27 2025 a delegation from the Canon Institute for Global Studies (CIGS) of Japan led by Nobuo Tanaka former Executive Director of the International Energy Agency and Senior Executive Advisor at CIGS met and held discussions with Saeed Khatibzadeh Head of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS). The Center for Political and International Studies (CPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Swiss Embassy in Tehran held a ceremony on Monday January 13 2025 to commemorate the anniversary of the adoption of the four Geneva Conventions.
