Roundtable of the Romanian Presidency on EU: Priorities and Challenges

A technical roundtable entitled"Romanian Presidency on EU: Priorities and Challenges" was held at the Institute for Political & International Studies (IPIS) on Monday, Jan.7, 2019.Mr. Adrian Kozjacski, ambassador of Romania to Iran, respective officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran, and senior experts of IPIS discussed on three areas including Iran-Romania bilateral relationship in different political, parliamentary, cultural, and economic aspects; Iran-EU relationship in terms of potentials, expectations, and future perspective as well as the role which can be played by Romania as the rotating presidency of EU for expanding Iran-EU collaborations and relations. The priorities and challenges which will be confronted by Romania within its six-month office as the president on EU, in particular, and the priorities and challenges of EU in 2019, in general, were also discussed as the third area of discussion in this roundtable.
