The Joint Roundtable on “21st Century Maritime Silk Road and Potential Areas of Cooperation”

The Joint Roundtable on “21st Century Maritime Silk Road and Potential Areas of Cooperation” was held between Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) and China Center for Contemporary World Studies (CCCWS) on Saturday, June 10th, 2017, in IPIS. During the event, while highlighting the deep historical relations between two countries, and their significant role in East and West parts of Asia, the Iranian scholars expressed their willingness on deepening political and trade relations. The Chinese scholars also while indicating their country’s willingness for improvement of regional situation and referring to the important role of Iran in the region, emphasized on the significance of trade maritime relations through the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
